Design 4 Sustainability
Prysmian Group is an advocate for a holistic approach to sustainability. A focus on product carbon footprint (PCF) alone is not enough. Instead a life-cycle perspective will enable our customers to fully see the environmental impact along the value-chain.
We support a design for sustainability strategy (D4S) that goes beyond the carbon footprint and focus on recycled raw materials, material toxicity, transmission efficiency, life-time, end-of-life recyclability and other environmental aspects.
